Julep Golden Ticket Mystery Box #3

This is the first Mystery Box I've gotten. It's kinda fun. I'll be really excited I. The fall when these colors are back in season. Here is what I got:
They included a cute little pack of Forget-Me-Not seeds. That is always fun.

The nail polishes I got were (from left to right)...
Scarlett (red sparkly), Stevie (gun metal grey), Shoshanna (gold sparkle...pretty! Looks better in real life than in the pic), Glam Roc (I have no clue how to describe it.  It's sparkly, it has a cool texture...I don't know! But it's my favorite in this box), and Nic (Vamoy, Deep Maroon-y Red).

And the Julep Halo Lip Glosses:
The clear one is called "Merriment" and the red one is called "Peace". They are obviously left over from Christmas.

The whole box was $15. Not a shabby deal! I will probably use some of these as gifts.  Maybe. I saw the spoilers for the other boxes and am very glad I chose this one. Here is a link for the other ones from the blog "Evolution of a Foodie".

Ipsy Glam Bag- May 2014

Fresh Picks is the theme of this months bag. This month was just ok for me. My extremely adorable bag was filled with mostly skin care. The funny thing is, as not exciting as this bag is, I will use all of it, exct the eye shadow.  I have too many in that color already. So here are my Ipsy Bag Contents:

First... The adorable bag itself:

Pacifica Mineral Eye Shadow Duo #1 in Celestial and Opal -Full size.  I had to show you a close-up of the lighter color. It is so purdy! I ended up giving it to a friend who uses these colors everyday.  She highly recommends it!

derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub- Deluxe Sample. I can always use scrub.  Bummed they included another microdermabrasion scrub when I got one from them last month, but that's ok.  I just saw that there were so many better things I could have gotten instead of something I got last month.

Hang Ten Sunscreen SPF 50-Deluxe Sample.  Yawn! But I can always use sunscreen.

Hey Honey Take it Off Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask- Deluxe sample.  I'm most excited about this product. I haven't used a peel since middle school, so this will be fun.  I'm obsessed with honey, so if it smells even remotely close to honey, I'll be happy.

Pūr~lisse Pūr-moist Hydra-balance Moisturizer-Deluxe sample. I like Pūr~lisse. It's nice. It's expensive. It's something I would never buy on my own. I got a full sized lotion with SPF from them in my Blush bag back in December I think and I really liked it.

Overall, I really wasn't impressed this month. I usually get mostly full sized products and got only one this month.  Although I will use these products, they really aren't exciting.  It sucks for those people, like my friend, who subscribed to Ipsy because it's more of a makeup-based sub because they are so sensitive to skin care. If she gets the same bag as me, she will only be able to use the eye shadow. Hopefully they catered these bags close enough to give the skin care-sensitive people more of the makeup and tools instead.

Phone Case of the Month Sub-May 2014

I love this sub. Here is my phone case for my iPhone 5C for the month of May. I get so many compliments on my phone cases. They are so cute. Totally worth the $10.

Glossybox April 2014

Pic was so not excited by this months Glossybox that I didn't even bother to take my own pics and took them off their website instead. Everyone got the same thing this month, with the exception of the body wash and nail color. There were 13 different nail colors you could get, and I got "Angels Wings" which is a beautiful pearly white. Glossybox sent me a Coconut Fig Leaf scented body wash. The other variet was Tea Olive Lime. So here it is... (The big pic is from their website. My nail color was different. Sorry for the confusion. I'm lazy)
My products were:
Aqua Spa Relax Body Cream in Lavender Chamomile- Deluxe Sample (2 oz.). I really like this product.  It's a really good price too.  8 oz for $8.

LaSplash Eyesealer Base - Full Size.  This is ok. Kinda sticky but it's supposed to be good for glitter but haven't tried that yet. This full size item is worth $9.

Ciate Paint Pot in Angel's Wings- Full Size. This is a nice polish. Not sure if it's worth the $15 it costs, but there are a zillion colors they make and they do have the cute little bows.

Caldrea Body Wash in Coconut Fig Leaf- Deluxe Sample.  This is a nice product.  Smells great. Full size is an 11.5 oz bottle for $18.

Bella Pierre Lip Gloss in Vanilla Pink Super Gloss-full size worth $24.50. For lip gloss. I'm not a big fan of their products. It looks great on my friend so I'm giving it to her. It's nothing special.  Not for that price. The color is nice though.  Just better on my friend than I.

I got my money's worth, thats for sure. Next month is a collaboration with Berdorn and Norman? Can't remember the name. I've never heard of them but I'm told it's an awesome department store in New York and they carry great stuff. In the box is a gift certificate for $25 with no minimum purchase! It just has to be used by June 30th.  Let's hope Glossybox gets their crap together and get their May boxes out before June! Doubtful, but that's ok. I still love them.
