Here are more details about Birchbox. BB is a beauty and lifestyle subscription, which means that once a month, BB will send you 4 to 5 samples and full sized products for you to try! You could get samples of things like makeup, skin care, hair products...or lifestyle products like hair accessories, tea, chocolates, candles, etc. These products are from high quality companies, like Benefit, dr. brants, Sexy Hair and Juicy Couture, along with a ton of other high-end cosmetic companies that might be a little more eclectic or new.
Beauty Profile
Worried you might not like the surprises in your box? Birchbox encourages you to complete a beauty profile. They will then cater your boxes to your beauty profile and do their best to give you products you will like and use.
Points System
One of the best things that Birchbox offers is their points system. You automatically get 100 points when you sign up. You ca review the items in you box each month and get 10 points for each review. Any successful referral of a friend gets you 250 points! Anything you buy in their shop gets you points too. Say you buy a product that costs $20...you get 20 points. Certain promotions might give you 2X's the points, etc., so keep your eyes out for those! What do you do with the points? So glad you asked! Once you get to 1,000 points (which is actually pretty easy) you get $10 to spend on anything in their shop! And if you buy something in your box, shipping is free!
Sneak Peeks
Another fun thing that Birchbox does is their monthly sneak peeks. During the first week of the month, BB puts out a video showing which products will be showcased that month. You will probably only get one or two of those products, so the remainder of your box will still be a surprise. Their Instagram and Facebook post sneak peeks as well.
Beauty box subscriptions are so fun! I look forward to the sneak peeks and the anticipation of getting their cute little box in the mail! It's like Christmas every month! Life has so little surprises anymore, so I have (probably too much) fun with these subscriptions!
